Kosmos Energy completed the sale of its Ceiba Field and Okume Complex interests in Equatorial Guinea to Panoro Energy, receiving a final cash payment of about $127 million and potential contingent payments up to $40 million tied to future oil prices and production. Proceeds will be used to reduce debt under the company’s reserves-based lending facility and the divestment removes a $140 million asset retirement obligation from the balance sheet.
