The Kraft Heinz Company redirects $600 million to brand investment and outlines growth plan
The Kraft Heinz Company said at the dbAccess Global Consumer Conference it is redirecting $600 million from a paused separation into incremental brand investment and will target marketing spend of 5.5% of net sales and 1% of net sales to R&D. Management reported market share losses narrowing from 90 bps to 20 bps and more than half of categories now holding or gaining share, led by major brand innovations such as Capri Sun packaging updates and strategic retailer initiatives. Kraft Heinz restructures global business into three regions
Effective July 1, 2026, Kraft Heinz will implement a new regional structure dividing its operations into North America, Europe and Pacific developed markets, and emerging markets, and will consolidate several emerging-market divisions. Marcel Regis will become regional president for emerging markets; Willem Brandt will remain regional president for Europe and Pacific developed markets; and Nico Amaya will continue to lead North America. Procurement and supply chain functions will be combined into a single centralized unit, with Janelle Aydin appointed global chief procurement and supply chain officer. Cory Onell and Flavio Torres will relinquish their current roles and support the company as advisors during a transition period.
