Smart announces all-electric two-seater smart #2 for late 2026

Smart is bringing the smart #2, a new all-electric two-seater, to market as a modern evolution of the Fortwo aimed primarily at Europe and scheduled for late 2026. The design comes from the Mercedes‑Benz design team, the technology is supplied by joint-venture partner Geely, and production will take place in China.
