Medios completes acquisition of 74% of Caelo and strengthens API market position
Medios has, as planned, acquired around 74% of the shares in Caesar & Loretz GmbH (Caelo) and thereby, according to its own statements, secured market leadership in the API business for pharmacies and clinics in Germany. The transaction is intended to expand the range for pharmacy formulations and to strengthen supply security in the long term; Caelo is expected to generate sales of about €40 million in 2026. After a profit warning and a yearly low, the stock has regained momentum and could break the technical downtrend, although this remains uncertain. » Plus sur finanzen.net
Medios sets ambitious targets through 2031 and reforms business structure
Medios aims to increase revenue from €2.1 billion (2025) to around €3.1 billion by 2031, of which €700 million is organic and €300 million from acquisitions in the compounding area. Adjusted EBITDA is expected to double to around €170 million by 2031 and the margin to rise to about 5.5 percent. The company is replacing its previous three segments with the business units Specialty Pharma Supply and Compounding, optimizing its production network and scaling back certain activities such as advanced therapies. The recent presentation of the five‑year targets gave the share a short‑lived boost, but the gains could not be sustained. » Plus sur finanzen.net
