MERKUR PRIVATBANK proposes foregoing dividend and trims 2026 outlook

Management and the supervisory board want to allocate the entire 2025 profit to reserves and forgo a dividend, citing increased uncertainties, particularly in the real estate business. The bank names the ongoing Iran crisis and the changed interest rate environment as reasons and lowers its expectations for 2026. In Q1 the operating result stood at 15.3 million EUR (previous year 18.7 million EUR); the fee surplus rose slightly while net interest income fell.
