Nouveau Monde Graphite starts accelerated placement of common shares

Nouveau Monde Graphite announced an accelerated public offering of common shares aimed exclusively at U.S. investors, with Maxim Group acting as sole placement agent. The exact number of shares and the price will be set during marketing; the offering is subject to regulatory approvals from the TSX and NYSE and will be made under an F-10 registration. Proceeds are intended to be used for long-lead equipment, the start of construction of the Matawinie mine project, detailed mine engineering and indirect costs, engineering services for the Bécancour battery materials plant (13,000 t/year), and working capital.
