The disposal generated around 30 billion INR (approximately 0.3 billion USD) before costs and taxes; the group reports a profit of about 0.3 billion USD. The sale was conducted via bookbuilding to help ICICI Prudential meet the Indian minimum public float rule (15% within five years).
