SHF Holdings excludes directors from retention bonuses in revised employee retention program

On August 14, 2026, the board of directors of SHF Holdings approved an amended employee retention program that retroactively excludes directors of SHF and its subsidiaries from retention bonuses and rescinds prior director agreements. The program now requires that a CEO’s determination of insolvency be approved by the board and changes the definition of a “change of control” so that a shareholder‑approved liquidation will no longer trigger retention payments.
