Siltronic plans capital increase of over 10% of share capital

Siltronic is issuing new shares amounting to 10% of its share capital and is excluding shareholders’ subscription rights. The issue price will be set after completion of bookbuilding; according to documents the offering is expected to be around €280 million. The proceeds are intended for growth, strengthening the balance sheet and general corporate purposes; the new shares will be entitled to dividends from 1 January 2026 and are expected to be admitted to trading from 19 June. Siltronic consolidates at a high level – weaker cues weigh on the share price

Bullish comments from Dell about sharply rising demand for AI servers and reports that capacity is tight at both the most advanced and older production lines raise the prospect of wafer shortages. AI accelerators require large chips with lots of wafer area and attached HBM, pushing fabs to their capacity limits.
