Tesla deliveries beat estimates but shares fall after 8% sell-off

NHTSA closes investigation into phantom braking in Tesla vehicles
The US traffic safety agency NHTSA has closed its probe into unexpected braking maneuvers in about 695,000 Tesla Model 3 and Y vehicles. The agency cited a low demonstrated risk and a sharp decline in reported incidents (300 at the start, 45 in 2024, 19 in 2025 and three since early 2026). Tesla had already released software updates to address the issue in early 2022. Tesla records June registration boom in France and Sweden, sharp decline in Norway
Tesla’s new registrations in Europe showed a mixed picture in June: France rose by 105% and Sweden by 56.3% year-on-year, while Norway saw a decline of 43% to 3,222 vehicles. In Denmark registrations increased by 39% to 1,778 vehicles. Analysts expect deliveries to increase by around 5% in the second quarter, with Europe seen as the main growth driver supported by higher fuel prices; total quarterly deliveries are forecast at about 402,780. » Plus sur de.investing.com
