VCI Global has signed a memorandum of intent with DPS Energy to develop a PV plant of up to 250 MW on roughly 600 acres in Lipat Kajang, Malakka. The project is expected to deliver 350–450 GWh per year, have an indicative gross value of USD 200–300 million and generate cumulative contract revenues of USD 360–480 million over 20 years; the aim is to secure long‑term offtake agreements, including with data centres.
