XCF Global begins sale of renewable diesel to Berkshire Hathaway subsidiary

XCF Global has started selling renewable diesel from the New Rise Renewables Reno facility to Tartan Oil LLC, a subsidiary of Pilot Travel Centers and thus Berkshire Hathaway. The facility began production in July and has an approved capacity of 38 million gallons per year; deliveries are to be expanded as production ramps up. XCF views the transaction as the first step of commercial revenue for the site and intends to continue working with Tartan to supply commercial fleets in North America. XCF Global: sharp rise in RIN prices bolsters value of renewable diesel production

XCF Global reports that D4-RIN prices for biomass-based diesel rose to about $2.41 per RIN as of June 4, 2026, nearly doubling year-to-date. According to the EIA, one gallon of renewable diesel currently generates roughly 1.6–1.7 RINs, equivalent to a RIN value of more than $3.50 per gallon. The EPA increased the required volumes under the Renewable Fuel Standard for 2026 by about 15.6% versus 2025, which XCF Global highlights as a supporting factor for the biofuel credits market.
