Zentek has been awarded a standing-offer contract with the Government of Canada to supply HVAC filters, including the ZenGUARD Enhanced Air Filter, for federal sites in the National Capital Region. The contract runs from August 19, 2026, to August 18, 2027, with a maximum value of 348,666.84 CAD and pre-set prices for ministry call-ups. National Research Council of Canada tests showed about a fivefold improvement in aerosol filtration performance; a pilot project yielded 22% lower fan energy use versus conventional MERV-13 pleated filters. Zentek has filed a provisional application with the US Patent Office for ZEN-EMI-01, a water-based shielding coating made from Albany graphite, ferrite particles and a conductive polymer. Internal tests showed that a thin layer predominantly attenuates microwaves in the 8–12 GHz band by absorption; these results have not been independently verified.
