China Gold's stock rose sharply on Friday, climbing 12.9% to HK$211.4 after the company reported a first-half net profit attributable to shareholders of about US$507m (up 153% year-on-year) and revenue of roughly US$914m (up 58%). Drivers were significantly higher realized commodity prices, including an average gold price at the CSH mine of about US$4,703/oz (up 52%) and an average copper price at the Jiama mine of around US$4.66/lb (up 73%).
