ExpreS2ion Biotech cuts Q2 loss, early HER2 data show immune response without safety concerns

ExpreS2ion Biotech reported a net loss of SEK 9.7m in the second quarter versus SEK 10m a year earlier, while the operating loss rose slightly to SEK 12m. Operating income increased to SEK 11.5m, driven by grants, and R&D expenses climbed to SEK 11.4m (+483%) as the HER2 program ES2B‑C001 was advanced. In the Phase I trial, 12 of 13 evaluable patients showed drug‑specific antibody responses with no new safety signals; a Phase II start is now expected in H2 2027.
