J. Smart & Co. reported a profit of £106,000 for the half-year to 31 January 2026, down from £128,000 a year earlier, while revenue rose from £9.0m to £14.8m. Before property valuations an operating loss of £325,000 was recorded (previous year loss £6,000) and basic earnings per share fell to 0.16 pence (previous year 0.17 pence).
