LG Electronics expands offering for liquid cooling in AI data centers

LG Electronics is expanding its portfolio of chillers and air-side systems with rack-side products such as coolant distribution units and cold plates. By mid-2026 the company had received orders worth about 600 billion won and expects additional orders totaling several trillion won by the end of 2026. LG’s 600-kW distributors received NVIDIA certification; 1-MW models are in final certification, and larger 2.5-MW and 4-MW units are planned for the second half of 2026. LG Electronics accelerates robotics cooperation with NVIDIA and expands Data Factory in Seoul

LG Electronics hosted NVIDIA representatives at its under-construction Data Factory on the Yangjae R&D campus to deepen collaboration in robotics. The four-story facility is slated to house several hundred robots by year-end and provide 100,000 hours of training and synthetic data for a Robot Foundation Model. LG Electronics reports Q2 operating profit well above analysts' expectations

LG Electronics released a preliminary profit forecast for Q2 2026, showing an operating profit of W1.6 trillion, beating estimates from Goldman Sachs (W1.1 trillion) and the Bloomberg consensus (W1.3 trillion).
