Meta's Muse AI agent tested by Mark Zuckerberg for family tasks and MMA training
Mark Zuckerberg says he uses Meta's new AI agent Muse to plan kid-friendly baking projects, monitor mountain-climbing permits, create game-based learning guides for his children, and review MMA training footage. Muse is designed to pursue longer-term tasks, work in the background, retain user preferences, and integrate with services like Instacart. Meta plans a large free token allowance plus a paid tier and has built confidential virtual machines and approval prompts to protect sensitive data, though early use highlighted limits in task difficulty tuning. » Plus sur tech.yahoo.com
Meta introduces personal AI agent Muse
Meta has unveiled the AI agent Muse, which not only answers questions but also autonomously performs digital tasks such as drafting emails, organizing travel, filling out forms and handling purchases. Muse runs on the Muse Spark model inside an isolated Muse Secure VM, stores data and credentials separately, and lets users control connections and access rights. For sensitive actions the agent requests prior consent, but it can run longer tasks in the background; activities are logged. The service launches in the US for iOS, Android, muse.ai and WhatsApp with a free basic tier; subscriptions, integration into AI glasses and an encrypted Confidential VM are planned. » Plus sur finanzen.net
Meta $18 billion settlement clears legal overhang and could accelerate AI product launches
Meta reached an $18 billion settlement in a lawsuit over youth harms that includes limits on teen usage, filter restrictions and tighter age verification. Analysts at Morgan Stanley say the deal removes a legal overhang and may prompt a wave of AI product launches, including a consumer agent and ad tooling, while Needham warns Meta's scattered strategy and high capex needs could dilute results. Meta will book a $10 billion legal charge in Q3 and pay the settlement over ten years, creating additional near-term cost pressure amid a heavy 2026 investment plan. » Plus sur cnbc.com
