Sampo repurchased 4,266,170 of its own A shares in the week of 7–11 September at a weighted average price of €9.51, of which 2,616,863 were bought on the Helsinki exchange at €9.50 and 1,223,069 via CEUX at €9.52. Sampo Group raised its 2026 full-year forecast after a strong first half and a robust Q2, with comparable premium growth of 5% and a currency-adjusted increase in the underwriting result of 5%.
