Aris Mining has started building a 109‑metre modular steel bridge over the Puruni River at Puruni Landing to supplement the existing pontoon crossing and secure access to the Toroparu gold project. The bridge is also intended to improve the Puruni corridor for other users and divert heavy traffic from the local main road.
