Empresaria has agreed to sell its 90% stake in Japanese IT recruitment firm Skillhouse to its managing director, Mark Smith. On completion the buyer will pay ¥200m (about £940,000) plus an earn‑out equal to 80% of profit before tax for the 2026 and 2027 financial years, each with a minimum payment of ¥20m per year. As at 31 December 2025 Skillhouse reported total assets of around £2.4m and a pre‑tax profit of approximately £250,000.
