QNB Corp. consortium banks fully exercise over-allotment option

The consortium banks have fully exercised the over-allotment option and purchased an additional 160,714 QNB Corp. common shares at $42.00 each, bringing the total number of shares sold in the public offering to 1,232,142. The expected proceeds from the option are about $6.3 million, increasing the expected total gross proceeds of the offering to approximately $48.3 million before operating expenses. QNB Corp begins trading on the Nasdaq today after selling about 1.1 million shares at $42 each, raising $45 million. The bank is moving from the OTC Markets (formerly ticker QNBC.PK) to the Nasdaq. The proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes, including repositioning its bond portfolio, repaying liabilities, financing new loans and bolstering capital ratios.
