Atlas Energy, in partnership with Kodiak, will expand its autonomous truck fleet for sand deliveries in the Permian Basin to 100 vehicles by mid-2027. As of March 31, 2026, the company operated 28 driverless trucks on 15 routes; the expanded fleet is expected, subject to regulatory and operational milestones, to also run on public roads from early 2027.
