Banco do Brasil: revenue beats expectations, EPS misses forecast and shares fall

Banco do Brasil reported Q2 2026 revenue of USD 44.0 billion, well above consensus, while earnings per share of USD 0.55 missed the estimate of USD 0.6388 by about 13.9%. Net profit rose to BRL 3.9 billion, but higher risk provisions and rising default rates, particularly in the agribusiness and credit card segments, weighed on profitability. The stock fell in after-hours trading and approached its 52-week low as investors placed greater weight on the missed earnings and credit risks than on revenue growth.
