Namibian subsidiary Hope and Gorob Mining has signed an exclusive contract with Unitrans Namibia for mining and logistics services at the Hope-and-Gorob project. Unitrans will handle drilling, blasting, loading and haulage, road maintenance, short-term mine planning, and transport of copper-gold pre-concentrate to the NLZM processing plant. Bezant Resources has signed a binding framework agreement for a senior secured prepayment facility of up to $7 million and an offtake agreement for 100% of the concentrate with a global commodity trader to finance the Hope-and-Gorob copper project in Namibia. The facility will be drawn in tranches, with an initial $3 million payment at signing and a further $4 million before commissioning, subject to conditions such as acquiring a 90% interest in Namib Lead and Zinc Mining, due diligence and final agreements.
