UBS upgrades Bilfinger and drives stock higher

UBS has upgraded Bilfinger from “Neutral” to “Buy” and lowered the price target from €107 to €102, after which the share rose about 4.0% to €83.275. The bank cites an improved risk profile following strong Q2 results (revenue +7% to €1.45bn, EPS +13% to €1.47) and high order visibility (order intake around €1.5bn, covering 90% of the 2026 revenue forecast). Bilfinger increased second-quarter revenue by 7% to €1.45bn and EBITA by 4% to €77m; the EBITA margin fell to 5.3%, below the target corridor. Order intake shrank 16% to just under €1.5bn but remained the third-highest volume in ten years. Bilfinger sees opportunities in Middle East reconstruction despite setback from Iran war

The Iran war dampened demand for Bilfinger and pushed order intake down 16% in the second quarter to €1.5bn. Revenue rose 7% to €1.45bn, EBITA increased 4% to €77m, while the EBITA margin fell to 5.3% (prev. 5.5%). Bilfinger expects the full-year EBITA margin at the lower end of the 5.8–6.2% range and reported free cash flow of €48m.
