Bridgepoint has announced the issuance of 10,132,073 ordinary shares to satisfy allocation claims related to the takeover of Energy Capital Partners. The new shares will be issued to eligible employees, rank pari passu with existing ordinary shares, and admission to trading on the London Stock Exchange’s main market is expected. Bridgepoint reported significantly better-than-expected numbers for the first half. Adjusted EBITDA rose 77.6% to £227.3 million, the EBITDA margin reached 61% and exceeded forecasts. Fee-paying AUM grew 32.7% to $58.4 billion, group AUM to $97.3 billion (pro forma $120 billion including the planned Kayne Anderson Real Estate acquisition).
