Cibus misses Q2 revenue forecast; shares fall 16% after hours

Cibus reported Q2 2026 revenue of $1.0 million versus a $1.75 million analysts’ expectation, after which the stock fell about 15.8% in after‑hours trading. The company also reported significant cost reductions, a reduced net loss of $22.1 million and cash of $20.4 million. Management raised its forecast for net cash burn through the end of 2026 to around $35 million, and expects the financial runway to extend into early Q1 2027.
