COLTENE: half-year sales and operating profit down – recovery expected in second half

COLTENE reports H1 2026 sales of CHF 112.8m (-4.4%; +0.8% in local currencies) and an operating profit of CHF 5.8m (-24%); the EBIT margin fell to 5.1%. Net profit decreased 5.0% to CHF 4.1m. Negative currency effects, higher material, logistics and energy costs, inventory optimizations in the US and local events in South America weighed on results; regionally, EMEA showed strong gains while Asia and South America declined.
