Commonwealth Bank of Australia reports 11.0 billion AUD cash profit and raises dividend

Commonwealth Bank of Australia delivered a cash profit of 11.0 billion AUD (+7.1%) and a statutory profit of 10.9 billion AUD for the year ended 30 June 2026. The final dividend was raised to 2.70 AUD, bringing the full-year dividend to 5.05 AUD with a payout ratio of 77%. Management said AI investments could generate around 400 million AUD of gross revenue in 2027, but cut its mortgage growth forecast for 2027 to 4–5% due to intense competition and a tougher environment. Commonwealth Bank increases net profit in H1 2025 and raises dividend

Commonwealth Bank reported a 6% increase in cash-basis net profit for the first half of 2025 and earnings per share of +0.19 AUD. The bank raised its fully franked dividend to 2.35 AUD (+0.10 AUD) and saw its share price rise about 8% to 171.39 AUD after the results.
