Cyber attack on Craneware sends shares down about 9.6%

Craneware reported a cyber incident in which unauthorized parties compromised parts of its data environment and stole extensive data, including employee, customer and partner information. The company says much of the stolen material is non-critical or already publicly available, has activated its emergency plan and engaged external cyber security and forensic specialists. According to the company, the attack has been contained, there have been no impacts to customer service or operations, and US and UK regulators have been informed. Craneware warns of earnings decline for fiscal 2026 – shares plunge

Craneware issued an unscheduled trading update and expects revenue of $205–208m and adjusted EBITDA of $65–67m for the fiscal year ending 30 June 2026, both broadly in line with the prior year. The stock fell intraday by around 21.5% to 1,148p after the company cited delays in the timing of qualified 340B activities and the deferral of significant enterprise customer contracts to 2027 as the main reasons.
