D’Ieteren: operative growth in 2025 overshadowed by currency and financing costs

D’Ieteren reports underlying operative growth of 3.8% for 2025 despite a 10.3% decline in adjusted pre-tax profit to €955.6 million, mainly weighed down by currency headwinds and additional financing costs of around €184 million. The group generated free cash flow of €374 million, proposes a dividend of €2.00 per share and reinstated a €100 million buyback programme. By segment, Belron remained the largest earnings contributor, PHE showed marked profit growth, TVH and Moleskine showed weaknesses, and D’Ieteren Automotive benefited from a leading position in electric vehicles in Belgium.
