Bending Spoons has reached a definitive agreement to acquire Eventbrite and will pay $4.50 per share in cash, valuing the company at about $500 million. The price represents an 82% premium to the volume-weighted 60-day average price and prompted a 78.6% premarket jump. The board of directors unanimously approved the transaction; closing is expected in the first half of 2026 and remains subject to regulatory and shareholder approvals.
