Fulgent: phase‑2 data on cancer drug FID‑007 show 60% response rate

Fulgent published an abstract of the open‑label, randomized phase‑2 study of FID‑007 in combination with cetuximab, which will be presented at the ASCO meeting on June 1, 2026. Among 42 evaluable patients with recurrent/metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, the objective response rate was 60% and median progression‑free survival was 7.2 months; median duration of response was 7.4 months. The safety profile consisted mostly of grade‑1/2 events; grade‑3/4 events included neutropenia and anemia, and in arm B a treatment‑related death due to pneumonia was reported.
