Global Water Resources reached a settlement with the Arizona Corporation Commission and the Residential Utility Consumer Office for rate cases of its subsidiaries Santa Cruz Water Company and Palo Verde Utilities Company. GW-Santa Cruz is awarded an annual revenue requirement increase of about $2.3 million based on a rate base of $63.6 million, a capital structure of 55% equity/45% debt and a return on equity of 9.6%; new rates are to take effect on November 1, 2026, and would raise the average monthly bill by $2.68. The current rate case for GW-Palo Verde will be withdrawn; the company plans to refile in 2027 using a 2026 test year and is seeking an increased temporary bill credit of roughly $0.4 million annually until then.
