The company confirmed its outlook for 2026 and announced an interim dividend of 2.4p, but investors reacted negatively to the discrepancy with the targets and to cautious analyst comments. The FDA approved new label warnings for Haleon’s over-the-counter weight-loss pill Alli, citing rare risks including acute kidney injury, kidney stones and oxalate nephropathy that can be fatal if untreated. The updated drug facts instruct people with prior kidney disease or stones to consult a doctor and tell all users to stop taking Alli if they develop back or groin pain, blood in urine, painful urination or leg swelling.
