Horizon Gold unveils plans to restart Gum Creek

Horizon Gold plans to bring Gum Creek in Western Australia back into operation with about AUD 350 million and is targeting a production start in the second half of 2028. The feasibility study shows an NPV of AUD 1.3 billion, against a current market capitalization of around AUD 200 million, and forecasts annual free cash flow of AUD 300–400 million after start-up. The initial open pit is projected to produce 960,000 ounces of gold over 10 years; additional underground and exploration upside is not included in the NPV.
