Data I/O signs letter of intent to acquire IAR security assets

Data I/O Corporation has signed a non-binding letter of intent to acquire intellectual property and related assets in embedded software security from IAR. The planned transaction covers software, source code, hardware, IP, engineering infrastructure, manufacturing facilities and certifications for platforms such as Embedded Trust, Secure Deploy and the eSecIP toolchain; financial details and timing were not disclosed.
