Japan Eyewear posts record sales in first half of 2026 thanks to premium pricing strategy

Japan Eyewear reported record results for the first half of fiscal 2026: group sales of ¥8,937 million (+7.7%), operating profit of ¥2,886 million (+4.8%) and net profit of ¥1,743 million (+4.0%). Gross margin improved slightly to 79.0%, but operating margin fell to 32.3% due to higher selling, general and administrative expenses related to store expansion. Drivers included continued price increases at Kaneko Optical and Four Nines and international growth; overseas business accounted for 32.9% of sales. The company is targeting mid-term goals by 2030 of ¥28.0 billion in sales and ¥10.0 billion in operating profit, and it reaffirmed its full-year forecast and an annual dividend of ¥84 per share. » Altro su de.investing.com
