Kongsberg Automotive boosts Q1 EBIT by 150% thanks to cost cuts

Kongsberg Automotive reported Q1 2026 EBIT of €5.5m (+150%) on currency-adjusted revenue decline of 1.7% to €179.6m. The EBIT margin rose to 3.1%; net income swung to a €5.2m profit (vs. -€2.2m). Cost reductions of €5.6m were the main driver, free cash flow improved year-on-year, and interest-bearing net debt fell to €111.4m (leverage 2.2x).
