LEIFHEIT reports half-year loss and expects operating result near zero

LEIFHEIT posted a €2.4 million loss in the first half of 2026 after a €1.0 million profit a year earlier. Revenue fell 5.8% to €116.3 million, weighed down by a difficult market environment and weak non-food consumer spending. Leifheit launches performance program FOCUS, cuts up to 70 jobs and lowers 2026 forecast

Leifheit decides on the FOCUS performance program to sustainably improve profitability and efficiency, including up to 70 group-wide job cuts, a new organizational structure and digitalization. The program is expected to save about EUR 7.5 million annually from 2028; implementation will incur one-off costs of up to EUR 9.6 million, approximately EUR 5.4 million in 2026. Leifheit reports preliminary H1‑2026 revenue of EUR 116.3 million (H1‑2025: EUR 123.4 million) and an EBIT of EUR -2.7 million.
