LEM boosts sales, order intake and EBIT margin significantly in first quarter

In the first quarter ending June 2026/27, LEM increased sales by 12.4% to CHF 85.1 million (constant +14.3%). Order intake rose 17.4% to CHF 104.6 million, with a book-to-bill ratio of 1.23. Strong growth came from the Energy Distribution & High Precision segment (+56.4%), Automation (+29.6%) and Renewable Energy (+5.9%), while Automotive and Track were weaker. Gross margin climbed 1.8 percentage points to 40.0% and the EBIT margin rose to 14.6% from 5.5% a year earlier; EBIT tripled to CHF 12.4 million and profit increased to CHF 9.1 million. LEM raises lower end of revenue guidance after stable third quarter

LEM reports stabilized order intake in Q3 with slight sequential growth (book-to-bill Q3: 0.93; 9M: 0.99) and currency-adjusted revenue growth of 0.2% after nine months. Reported revenue fell 5.4% due to currency effects. Gross margin stabilized at around 40% in the quarter, the cost-reduction program “Fit-for-Growth” is largely complete and SG&A fell by 12.8%.
