Lerøy Seafood Group: Q2 operating EBIT falls 15.6%, shares dip
Lerøy Seafood Group reported Q2 2026 operating EBIT of NOK 574 million, a decline of 15.6% year‑on‑year, weighed down by lower harvest volumes of salmon and trout and margin pressure in the market business. Improvements in wild catch (volume +5.6%, higher prices) and cost reductions (NOK 402 million of NOK 1 billion already realized) only partly offset the decline. The company raised its full‑year EBIT guidance for wild catch to NOK 400–450 million but recorded an increase in net debt of NOK 8.4 billion. The stock fell 1.49% in early trading to $40.88. » Altro su de.investing.com
Leroy Seafood share falls after weaker operating profitability
Leroy Seafood reported operating EBIT of NOK 574 million for Q2 2026 versus NOK 680 million a year earlier, weighed down by lower harvest volumes and weaker margins in Market Operations. EBIT in Farming fell to NOK 236 million, driven by roughly 8% lower harvest volumes (44,747 GWT). Positively, the company raised its full-year guidance for operating EBIT in Wild Catch to NOK 400–450 million and reported declining farming costs since Q1 2026, but expects higher feed costs in 2027. Investors remained cautious, so the share came under pressure and is trading well below its 52-week high. » Altro su de.investing.com
Captain D's ramps up U.S. growth and plans first international expansion
Captain D's is recovering from past struggles and expanding its fast-casual seafood footprint with over 530 U.S. locations and plans to enter the United Kingdom and Canada, while competitors like Red Lobster, Long John Silver's and Arthur Treacher's have faced declines. The chain has refocused with smaller footprints, drive-thru and online ordering, menu adjustments and emphasized unit-level performance after earlier legal and franchisee challenges linked to parent company Shoney's and founder Ray Danner. » Altro su yahoo.com
