Luceco H1 revenue and profit rise as energy-transition sales double

Luceco reported H1 revenue up 13.4% to £142.6m and adjusted operating profit up 14.5% to £15.8m, driven by energy-transition sales that more than doubled to £18m. Adjusted profit before tax rose 19.4% and adjusted EPS increased 13.6%; the board raised the interim dividend by 16.7% to 2.1 pence. Free cash flow was negative £2.1m as the group built inventory and invested in EV infrastructure, while bank leverage improved to 1.5x EBITDA and £44.4m of facilities remain undrawn. Luceco appoints Dr. Thorsten Müller as CEO effective 1 September

Luceco names Dr. Thorsten Müller as its new CEO with effect from 1 September. Müller joins from Halma and brings leadership experience from ABB, Osram and Bosch. John Hornby simultaneously leaves the board but will remain with the company in an advisory role. Luceco raises guidance for 2027 and 2028 after strong first half

Luceco reports organic, constant-currency revenue growth of 13% to £143m for H1 2026, accelerating from 11% in Q1 to 15% in Q2. The Energy Transition segment grew 120% and core revenue rose 6%. EBITA increased 14% to around £15.8m, with a margin of 11.1%. Net debt before IFRS 16 was £69.6m (net debt/EBITDA 1.5x).
