OneConnect completes privatization and files for delisting from NYSE and Hong Kong

The Grand Court of the Cayman Islands has approved OneConnect's privatization plan; its effectiveness still depends on outstanding conditions. OneConnect suspends NYSE trading of ADS on Oct. 30 due to privatization
OneConnect said it expects to suspend trading of its American Depositary Shares before the market opens on Oct. 30 as part of a privatization plan that would make the company an indirect 100% subsidiary of Ping An. Amendment No. 3 to Schedule 13E-3 was filed with the SEC on Sept. 23; a creditors’ meeting and an extraordinary general meeting are scheduled in Hong Kong for Oct. 28 to vote.
