Pantheon International NAV rises 4.3% as buybacks push shares up 37.5%

Pantheon International reported NAV per share growth of 4.3% while its share price gained 37.5%, driven in part by £118m of buybacks that added 2.2% to NAV. Portfolio distributions improved to 16% of opening NAV, with exits averaging 2.9x prior carrying values and an 18% uplift; notable exits included Wiz and Froneri. Management is streamlining the manager roster from about 90 to roughly 25 core private-equity managers over three to four years, cutting costs, using secondary-market sales for liquidity and maintaining selective gearing to support investment. Pantheon Investments reported a 4.3% NAV increase and a 37.5% rise in its share price for the year to 31 May 2026, reducing the discount to NAV from 40% to 21%. The company deployed £118m for share buybacks and plans to use at least 80% of the £224m from a targeted asset sale for further buybacks. Pantheon International sells portfolio assets for £224m and plans extensive share buybacks

Pantheon International has sold portfolio positions generating net proceeds of £224m; at least 80% of the proceeds, a minimum of £180m, will be used for share buybacks. The sale covers 42 fund positions across 28 general partners and represents 10.7% of NAV as at 31 March 2026; completion is scheduled for 30 June 2026.
