Paratus Energy posts strong half-year profit, shares pull back

Paratus Energy reports a net profit from continuing operations of $28m for H1 2026 versus $3m a year earlier, half-year revenue rising to $146m (+23%) and EBITDA of $87m (+26%). In Q2 revenue ($71m) and adjusted EBITDA ($42m) fell sequentially due to maintenance and operational disruptions in the PSV fleet. The completion of the Fontis-Drilling sale for $400m improved liquidity and reduced pro‑forma debt to about 1.6x EBITDA; management announced a quarterly dividend of $0.22.
