JR Motorsports re-signs Sammy Smith for 2026

Sammy Smith has signed a contract extension to remain in JR Motorsports' No. 8 car for the 2026 season, with continued backing from Pilot, TMC and Allstate Peterbilt Group. Smith, 21, has raced full time in the Xfinity Series since 2023 and has recorded a win in each season, including victories in the past two years with JR Motorsports. This season he has five top-fives and 13 top-10s; after a penalized incident at Martinsville earlier in the year, Smith has since been praised for cleaner on-track behavior. » Altro su forbes.com
