Pinewood Technologies shares rose 4% to 444 pence after the company confirmed it has accepted a recommended cash takeover offer from private-equity firm Ridgeview Partners. The offer is £4.48 per share and values Pinewood at about £545m, a 43% premium to the closing price on 23 July 2026. Shareholders holding around 48.71% of the capital, including Lithia UK Holding with just under 32%, have already pledged support; shareholders can alternatively roll into an unlisted vehicle managed by Ridgeview (cap: £250m).
