Red Rock Resources has signed a contract between partner Koto DRC SARL and the Ministry of Rural Development of the Democratic Republic of the Congo to build and install a wall-panel production facility in Kinshasa. The first lot is valued at $7,158,887; the agreement provides for the construction of an initial factory with an option for two further factories and triggers an initial payment to Koto DRC SARL. Red Rock Resources signed a memorandum d’entente with the Ministry of Rural Development and Koto DRC under which the ministry will finance the purchase and commissioning of three factories to produce social housing (each ≥3,000 units/year). The agreement builds on a framework agreement from November 2024 that allows Red Rock to receive mining licenses for copper‑cobalt mines in exchange for contributions to social housing projects. Red Rock Resources reports receipt of the cash portion from a sale announced on 12 September 2025 and the timely payment to Power Metal Resources that was due on 19 September. The company has completed documentation for the potential sale of certain gold assets in the Ivory Coast and has received exclusivity payments that, given the rise in the gold price, are unlikely to be extended beyond mid-October.
